Job mission: Department description: The Business Relationship Management division builds and maintains strategic relationships with Luxembourg's innovation ecosystem. Within this division, the HealthTech team supports the development and competitiveness of Luxembourg's health technologies sector — spanning medtech, digital health, biotech and pharmaceutical innovation — by connecting companies to relevant programmes, research organisations and European initiatives. Job description: As a HealthTech Innovation Project Coordinator, you will drive the operational management and strategic coordination of healthtech-related projects at national and European level. You will coordinate the activities of the HealthTech team members, ensuring that project milestones are delivered on time and within budget, while fostering collaboration between internal colleagues, consortium partners, research organisations and Luxembourg-based companies across the health technologies value chain. You will act as a key bridge between national/European initiatives and the Luxembourg business ecosystem, driving innovation and sustainable growth. Main tasks and responsibilities: Your responsibilities are structured around Luxinnovation's four core pillars of activity: Inspire: Monitor technological, regulatory and market developments across the healthtech landscape (medtech, digital health, biotech, pharma) and translate insights into actionable opportunities for the ecosystem Contribute to the design and implementation of Luxinnovation's HealthTech strategy and annual work programme, aligned with national health innovation priorities Represent Luxinnovation in healthtech-related fora, conferences and working groups at national and European level Promote Luxembourg's healthtech ecosystem and its competitive advantages to international partners and stakeholders Assess & Accelerate: Manage the operational delivery of healthtech innovation projects, ensuring alignment with consortium work plans, KPIs and budgets Coordinate the contributions of the HealthTech team members across active projects, ensuring clarity of roles, coherent planning and timely delivery of individual and collective workstreams Track project progress through regular reporting (CRM, European project management systems), flag risks and propose corrective actions Identify companies' innovation needs within the healthtech sector and assess their potential to participate in collaborative R&D projects Support companies in navigating regulatory frameworks relevant to health technologies (e.g., EU Medical Device Regulation, European Health Data Space) Connect: Serve as the central coordination point within the HealthTech team, facilitating information flow, aligning priorities and ensuring synergies between team members' respective activities and project portfolios Coordinate with consortium partners, research organisations and institutional stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge exchange Facilitate matchmaking between Luxembourg healthtech companies and international partners for collaborative innovation projects Act as an internal interface, connecting healthtech project activities with other Luxinnovation services (funding, market intelligence, digitalisation) Develop and maintain professional relationships across the national and European healthtech ecosystem Fund: Support Luxembourg companies in accessing European healthtech funding programmes (Horizon Europe Health Cluster, EIT Health, Innovative Health Initiative, Digital Europe Programme) Ensure compliant budget tracking, timesheet management and financial reporting for all projects under your coordination Identify synergies between national RDI funding instruments and European healthtech calls to maximise funding opportunities for ecosystem actors Contribute to the preparation and submission of new collaborative project proposals in the healthtech domain This list is not exhaustive. Required competencies: Education level and professional experience required: University degree at Master's level (Bac+4/5) in life sciences, biomedical engineering, health economics, public health, business management or equivalent Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project coordination or management within the healthtech, life sciences or health innovation sector Proven experience managing multi-partner collaborative projects (national or European) Experience coordinating small cross-functional teams or workgroups Knowledge of European R&D programme structures (Horizon Europe, EIT Health, IHI) is a strong asset Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) is desirable Specific competencies: Solid understanding of the health technologies landscape, including medtech, digital health, biotech and pharmaceutical innovation Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios with multiple workstreams, partners and deadlines Strong team coordination skills, with the ability to align diverse contributors around shared objectives and delivery timelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical health innovation challenges into structured project plans Excellent stakeholder engagement and diplomatic skills across institutional, academic and private-sector actors Knowledge of Luxembourg's socio-economic environment and health innovation ecosystem is an asset Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to health technologies (EU MDR, IVDR, European Health Data Space) is an advantage Languages: Fluent English and French are mandatory (oral and written, minimum C1 level) German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset IT Skills: MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project or equivalent CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) European project management platforms (e.g., EC Funding & Tenders Portal, JEMS) Knowledge of collaboration and reporting tools (Teams, SharePoint) Why choose this position?
