About this role

As a turner-miller, you play a key role in manufacturing, modifying, and repairing parts. You work with both conventional and CNC‑controlled turning and milling machines, and you actively contribute to determining the most efficient work sequence. This is not standard start‑stop production work: your technical insight and problem‑solving skills truly make the difference. Your responsibilities Independently create, set up, and optimize CNC programs. Perform a variety of turning and milling operations. Analyse incoming repair jobs and accurately measure components. Prepare sketches or simple technical drawings for upcoming machining tasks. Carry out dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments and ensure quality standards are met. Proactively suggest improvements to work methods and processes. Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in your work area. Operate an overhead crane to rotate and move workpieces. Switch quickly and flexibly between different assignments. Your profile You are a true professional with a passion for metalworking. You have experience with both conventional and CNC turning and milling. You can work independently, make technical assessments, and come up with practical solutions. You prefer variety and custom work over repetitive series production. You work with precision, take responsibility, and maintain a strong focus on quality.
