About this role

- You will work in the workshop on a welding station, usually independently and under instructions from the master welder. You work closely with other fellow welders and fitters. You will weld parts together according to the rules of the art of welding and the appropriate welding process depending on the type of material and melting material. You are able to read and interpret technical drawings. You carry out quality control of the welded joint. You are responsible for basic operations such as sawing, drilling, tapping, etc. with different types of metal. You are also responsible for grinding cutting tools, small material repairs, re-sharpening and polishing. You report and report problems to your supervisor on a daily basis. You are responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues at the welding station. - You understand instructions, work schedules and can read plans. You know the composition and melting behaviour of metals. You have experience in a production environment. You have a positive/flexible work attitude and enjoy working in a team. You have a forklift certificate. (plus point) You know how to operate an overhead crane and other installations.
