About this role
The Product Manager will lead and manage the product line using a market-based approach. This role will develop and manipulate the product line plans globally for the division. This role also encompasses end-to-end product line ownership including product and market strategy deployment, product roadmap development, and overall product line management. The ideal candidate should: Possess strong skills in conducting business and market assessments, evaluating business strategies and demonstrating excellent communication abilities to effectively develop and present their recommendations among Sales, Finance, Product Marketing and Communications. Demonstrate fluency in stage-gate product development processes, pricing strategy, and cross-functional product commercialization. Key domains: Portfolio & product lifecycle management and innovation. Market intelligence & competitive strategy. Business cases & financial accountability. Go-to-market strategy & sales enablement. Customer & market development. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in product management, product marketing or commercial management. Experience in packaging, specialty chemicals or other manufacturing industry required. Experience working across multiple regions or global organizations is preferred. Bachelor’s degree is required - Master is preferred. Ability to travel up to 50%. Strong analytical and qualitative assessment skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch | English | French). Acute attention to detail with ability to assess at macro level. Demonstrate initiative, integrity and results-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and defend strategy, build product roadmaps, and present investment recommendations to senior leadership. Strong financial acumen including profit management, cost structure analysis, and business case development. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and project management tools, preferred.
