*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mower to join our landscaping and maintenance team.
MUST HAVE A VAN OR SUV CAPABLE OF TRANSPORTING A PUSH MOWER.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces to ensure they are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beautification and sustainability of our clients' properties.
*Duties*
* Operate lawn mowers, including riding and push mowers, to maintain grass areas * Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, edging, and detailed landscape work * Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns * Perform gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning to promote plant health * Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical repairs as needed * Support landscape construction projects by assisting with excavation using excavators and other machinery * Apply horticultural principles to ensure healthy plant growth and sustainable landscape practices * Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards
*Skills*
* Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred * Mechanical knowledge related to lawn equipment, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators * Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively in outdoor settings * Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair techniques * Knowledge of landscaping best practices including planting, pruning, and soil management * Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling construction or mechanical equipment * Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions with the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary * Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
