QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must hold a valid Journeyperson Powerline Certification. * Must hold a valid Class 1A Commercial Driver?s License and maintain an insurable driving record. * Experience operating aerial lifts and line trucks. * Experience performing live-line work using rubber gloves and hot sticks. * Basic knowledge of wire stringing and associated equipment. * Basic knowledge of rigging practices and equipment. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Must successfully pass required pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing.
DUTIES:
* Perform all aspects of underground and overhead powerline distribution construction, including: * New construction * Modifications to existing facilities * Maintenance of existing facilities * Salvage operations * Live-line work * Material and pole hauling * Perform any other duties as requested or directed by the Foreman. * Current work schedule is Monday?Thursday, 7:00 a.m.?5:30 p.m. * Must be flexible with work hours and willing to travel and work in all weather conditions
