Boutique Endodontic Practice | Full-Time We are a endodontic speciality practice located in the east end of downtown Toronto committed to providing exceptional, patient-centred care in a calm and relaxing environment. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and professional Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator who can keep the day running smoothly and contribute to the growth of our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental receptionist/assistant who enjoys working in a smaller, collaborative specialty practice and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 9 - 6 pm or close. • Friday 9-5 pm (flexible). • Saturday (optional).

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications guided by ODA and ODAA wage report.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the front desk, including patient registration, check-in/check-out, scheduling, phones, and EMR. • Greet patients and provide a warm, professional, and reassuring experience from start to finish. • Take payments and assist with basic bookkeeping. • Review radiographs and treatment information to prepare accurate estimates. • Prepare and submit insurance estimates and claims. • Communicate treatment and appointment information clearly and professionally. • Conduct post-treatment comfort calls and patient follow-up. • Coordinate referrals and maintain strong communication with referring offices. • Proactively maintain referring-office relationships through regular updates, follow-ups, referral events, and other initiatives. • Maintain efficient scheduling, patient flow, and daily production. • Work closely with the clinical team and anticipate where support is needed. • Manage multiple priorities and resolve day-to-day issues independently. • Complete administrative duties including scanning, photocopying, filing, and data entry. • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. • Follow all applicable privacy, confidentiality, IPAC, infection prevention and control, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

• Several years of dental reception experience; endodontic or specialty experience is an asset. • Certified Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant certification preferred. • Proven ability to independently work as a treatment coordinator/senior administrator. • Well-versed in CDCP and private dental insurance, including preparing estimates and processing claims. • Proficient in dental scheduling, patient registration, EMR, treatment estimates, and insurance claims. • Strong computer skills, including dental software/EMR, Excel, and touch typing. • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. • Reliable, punctual, and dependable. • Lives within a reasonable commuting distance and has reliable transportation. • Able to multitask, prioritize, problem-solve, and maintain efficient office flow. • Warm, professional, and genuinely patient-centred. • Takes initiative, demonstrates accountability, and follows through. • Confident communicating with patients, referring dentists, and dental offices. • Able to work effectively in a small team and step in wherever needed.
