*Overview* Pizza Pizza in Orillia is seeking a reliable and motivated Pizza Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pizzas and other menu items according to company standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook pizzas, wings, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards. * Stretch dough, apply toppings, and operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently. * Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control. * Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. * Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages. * Receive and store food supplies properly. * Keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean and organized. * Assist with opening and closing duties. * Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred * Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards * Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude toward customers * Basic knowledge of the food industry and meal preparation processes * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cooking and cleaning
