About this role
We are hiring an experienced *Forklift Operator* for a leading steel company.
Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts safely to move steel coils, sheets, pallets, and other heavy materials. * Load and unload steel products safely and efficiently. * Transport and organize materials in the warehouse and production areas. * Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues. * Follow strict safety procedures and company policies in a steel manufacturing environment. * Properly handle and secure loads to prevent damage or accidents. * Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth material movement. * Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
* Experience operating a forklift in a steel, warehouse, or heavy industrial environment. * Valid forklift operator certification, if required. * Knowledge of safe load handling and material movement. * Strong attention to safety and detail. * Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials. * Ability to work in physically demanding conditions. * Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
