Position #: 9011311 Expected Start Date: September 28, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Saskatoon City Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Preassessment Clinic Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Pre-Admission Clinic Manager, the Nurse Practitioner will provide pre-operative assessment services to surgical care patients in the Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC). The Pre-Admission Clinic ensures patients are fully prepared for surgery in terms of patient optimization, appropriate pre-operative testing and intervention, and education surrounding what to expect before and after surgery. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for surgical care patients both independently and collaboratively with Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine, depending upon the complexity of patient needs. This includes: diagnosis, assessment, intervention and follow up for pre-operative patients.
