About this role
We are seeking an experienced Municipal / Land Development Fulltime Permanent Construction Inspector for our Hanover office effective immediately.
Work location may vary depending on job sites including but not limited to Port Elgin, Hanover, Listowel, Kincardine and Collingwood.
The successful applicant will perform daily inspections of construction sites and work completed to ensure that projects are moving forward and on schedule. Maintain accurate daily reports summarizing construction activity and other important information for the day. Work may include analyzing and reviewing cost estimates for proposed projects, making recommendations regarding schedule and material lists when needed.
Key Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in municipal and/or land development construction inspection
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of engineering standards, guidelines and regulations
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and work independently under minimal supervision
Valid ?G? Driver?s Licence and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,400.00-$83,200.00 per year
