We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of linens, towels, and other hotel textiles, contributing to a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests. Your energy and commitment will help uphold the high standards of cleanliness that our guests expect and deserve.
*Duties*
* Operate laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels * Strip linen / towels / bedding from guest rooms * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure safety and efficiency * Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or special-care textiles * Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs * Ensure all laundry processes comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards * Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly for guest rooms
*Qualifications*
* *Physically capable of handling the demands of the position, including lifting and moving heavy bags of laundry, pushing laundry carts, and standing for extended periods.* * *Able to repeatedly lift and carry loads of approximately 40?50 lbs.* * Comfortable working in a *fast-paced, physically demanding environment*. * Able to bend, reach, lift, and remain on your feet for most of the shift * Previous experience in hotel laundry services or general cleaning roles preferred * Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance is a plus * Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and quality control * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently * Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team environment
Pay: $18.75-$19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
