About this role
*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
· Communicate professionally with patients, their families, colleagues, and physicians
· Office cleaning/sanitization and organisation
· Conduct in-office urine drug screens for all patients to see a Doctor
· Random urine drug screens-maintain the binder and ensure they are happening regularly and to standard operating procedure
· Check patient blood pressure, weight etc.
· Communicating with pharmacies to better understand our patients? needs
· Managing incoming faxes and knowing how to deal with them
o Responding to various requests from agencies and other physicians
o Preparing and sending documents for lawyers
· Maintain effective filing system and patient records
· Missed doses, paperwork filing, accurate patient contact information
· Creation of duplicate files when they get full or damaged
· Maintaining up-to-date lab work, requisitions and other important patient paperwork
· Other duties as assigned by the Doctors and Office Manager

· Compassionate & empathetic towards people struggling with addictions
· Excellent communication skills are essential to the success of the patients? OAT
· Able to work independently, manage time effectively and be proactive in tasks
· Able to maintain strict confidentiality, tact and discretion
· Strong interpersonal skills and emotional maturity, with a knowledge of how to cope/deal with potentially triggering subject matter
· Ability to multitask, be flexible & adaptable
· Exceptional organisation skills are a must
· Ability to be proactive in handling patient concerns i.e.) lab/UDS results, requisitions, referrals etc.
*ACCOUNTABILITY:*
· The part-time MOA reports directly to the Office Manager
· Responsible for the effective management and confidentiality of patient records
