About this role
*Job Summary* As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear while ensuring optimal vision correction and satisfaction.
*Duties* - Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists - Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their appearance and meet their prescription needs - Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance - Process orders for lenses and frames - Maintain inventory of eyewear and supplies - Collaborate with eye care professionals to ensure accurate delivery of products
*Experience* - Prior experience in optical sales or retail management is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology related to vision care - Familiarity with optical laboratory procedures is a plus - Proficiency in sales techniques to promote eyewear products - Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record systems

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
