Maintenance Technician Park Play Community Programs Park Play is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and operation of multiple facilities across Regina. The successful candidate will complete routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and facility improvements to help ensure all locations remain safe, clean, and operational.Key Responsibilities: Complete general building repairs and maintenance Perform minor plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, and repair tasks Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and fixtures Respond to maintenance requests from program locations Identify and address safety hazards Support seasonal maintenance, landscaping, and exterior upkeep Coordinate with contractors and service providers as needed Obtain quotes and assist with project planning Track maintenance supplies, inventory, and replacement needsQualifications: Experience in building maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related field Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to safely use common power tools and maintenance equipment Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer skills for records and communicationRequirements: Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence Reliable vehicle for travel between locations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsPreferred Assets: Trade certification or apprenticeship experience, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, and experience maintaining childcare, educational, recreational, or community facilities.We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience, mileage reimbursement for approved work travel, and a supportive team environment.
