As a Arborist Assistant, your main *responsibilities *will include:
* Driving a 5 ton truck and chipper to and from sites * Assisting senior arborist with daily tasks. * All aspects on any job including, safety, proper execution, client interface (when needed), problem solving, overseeing the other crew members and giving feedback * Detail oriented, solution driven and organized * Having a positive, "Can Do" attitude and are respectful of the people and homes you are around
*Qualifications*
· ISA certification (is an asset)
· Capable of working safely and efficiently
· Experience in operating / maintaining chainsaws and chipper
· Valid G class license (D class is an asset)
· Hard working, reliable, punctual, physically fit
· Reliable transportation to our shop (Stittsville)
Wages are based on qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
