We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Denwest Dental Clinic, located in the heart of the city. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care and support during their visits, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering excellent dental services. *Responsibilities*
* Assist dentists during procedures and examinations * Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations * Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment * Take and develop X-rays as needed * Provide chairside assistance during treatments * Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care * Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as required * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
*Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Dental Assistant preferred
* Proficiency in EMR systems, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices * Experience with X-ray procedures and four-handed dentistry techniques * Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment * Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage. * Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
