*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while adhering to safety protocols. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to promote long-term dental health. * Assist in diagnosing oral health issues by reviewing patient histories and symptoms with the dentist. * Manage patient records accurately * Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions. * Collaborate with the dental team to streamline office operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
*Requirement*
* Current registration with BCCOHP as a Dental Hygienist * Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with patients of all ages. * Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving our diverse community effectively.
