About this role
*OVERVIEW*
You will be cleaning in client's homes including bathrooms, dusting, kitchen, flooring, vacuuming rugs, washing walls, cleaning glass, and removing garbage. The job requires a vehicle to go from one home to the next bringing needed equipment and supplies. More than one job is typically cleaned in a day.
Cleaner manages time well and problem solves to figure out solutions on how to clean and get the required tasks done within identified time.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
· Empty garbage and replace liners
· Clean bathrooms
· Clean kitchens including oven and refrigerator, wash dishes, wipe down counters
· Dusting
· Clean windows and glass
· Laundry
· Clean up after pets
· Clean window blinds
· Operate vacuum cleaners
· Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
·· Report any damage or repairs as needed
*RELATIONSHIPS*
· Internal Contacts ? contact with Owner for schedule information and job tasks. Sometimes works with another team member
· External Contacts ? frequent contact with clients
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*
· Some cleaning experience desired along with customer service and time management skills
*SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE*
Must have and be able to drive own vehicle to get to jobs·
Must possess verbal communication skills (basic English and a willingness to learn)
·Must have the ability to problem solve
Must be able to manage time to get work done within a set time
·Able to work as a team member.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS*
Fast-paced environment
Comfortable working around pets, particularly cats and dogs
Attention to detail
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing and safety equipment
Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
