Job Overview F&S Packaging Ltd. is a growing food manufacturing and distribution company based in Richmond, BC. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Junior Accountant to join our finance team.
This position offers the opportunity to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) in a fast-paced and growing business. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in financial reporting, inventory accounting, and ERP-based accounting processes while working closely with an experienced finance team.
Key Responsibilities
\* Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) \* Perform bank reconciliations and General Ledger account reconciliations \* Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records \* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities \* Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations \* Support inventory reconciliation and cost analysis \* Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks \* Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving records \* Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation \* Work closely with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies \* Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and ERP processes \* Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
\* Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field \* Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience \* Experience with ERP or accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong asset) \* Solid understanding of: \* Accounts Payable (AP) \* Accounts Receivable (AR) \* Bank Reconciliation \* General Ledger \* Journal Entries \* Month-end Closing \* Strong Microsoft Excel skills \* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills \* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment \* Good written and spoken English \* Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset \* Experience in inventory accounting, manufacturing, or distribution is considered a strong asset
