*Overview* Mystic Rains Contracting is growing, and we?re looking for skilled and motivated *carpenters* to join our crew.
We handle a variety of residential and light commercial projects, from framing and renovations to custom interiors and finishing touches. If you take pride in precision, quality craftsmanship, and working as part of a solid, professional team we?d love to hear from you.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform general carpentry tasks including framing, rough-ins, and structure work * Install trim, baseboards, casing, crown molding, and finish-grade materials * Hang doors, install windows, cabinetry, hardware, and fixtures * Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry tasks. * Lift heavy materials as necessary during the construction process. * Read and interpret work orders * Work independently and with a team to complete jobs on schedule * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. * Communicate clearly with team leads and clients as needed * Assist with job site prep, layout, and final punch lists * Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
*Requirements*
* 3+ years of experience in general carpentry or construction * Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment * Reliable transportation to and from job sites * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in a variety of conditions * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Willingness to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area * Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills and a professional attitude
