Our optometry clinic in the heart of downtown Ottawa is growing, and we?re looking for a friendly, detail?oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care, a welcoming environment, and a smooth, efficient clinic experience.
*What You?ll Do*
* Greet patients and provide outstanding front?desk service * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow * Perform pre?testing using modern diagnostic equipment (autorefraction, retinal imaging, visual fields, etc.) * Assist the optometrist during examinations as needed * Process payments, insurance claims, and maintain accurate patient records * Support general clinic operations to keep the day running smoothly
*What We?re Looking For*
* Experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is an asset, but we?re willing to train the right person * Strong communication and customer?service skills * Comfort with technology and learning new equipment * Ability to multitask in a fast?paced environment * A positive attitude and genuine interest in patient care * Professional, reliable, and team?oriented
