We are excited to welcome a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to our growing team at our established, patient-focused dental office in the heart of Port Moody! This position is 3?4 days a week, with the opportunity to add additional days in the future if desired. Our office is open Wednesday through Saturday. *SATURDAY IS A MUST! *
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting oral health.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning alongside the dentist. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix. * Obtain iTero digital scans to provide insight and knowledge for our patients. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth patient experience. * Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. * Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring excellent customer service.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in providing dental hygiene maintenance. * Knowledge of Invisalign is a plus. * Strong Customer Service skills to enhance patient interactions. * Experience working in a Dental Office setting is advantageous. * Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling is an asset. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. * Licensed and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of BC * BLS current
