Walker Flow is a Canadian-owned industrial distributor supplying pipe, valves, fittings and related products to customers throughout Western Canada. We are growing our business and are looking for a reliable, motivated *Warehouse Associate* to join our Edmonton team.
The Opportunity
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of accuracy and customer service.
This is a hands-on position involving receiving, picking, packing and preparing customer orders while helping keep our warehouse safe, organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
* Receive and verify incoming shipments * Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately * Load and unload trucks * Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment * Organize and maintain warehouse inventory * Assist with shipping and receiving documentation * Perform inventory counts as required * Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse * Help customers and drivers with pickups and deliveries * Follow company safety procedures and policies * Support the warehouse and branch team wherever needed
What We're Looking For
* Previous warehouse experience preferred * Experience with pipe, valves, fittings or industrial products is an asset * Forklift experience is an asset * Physically capable of lifting and handling warehouse materials * Strong attention to detail * Dependable and punctual * Positive attitude and strong work ethic * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team * Valid driver's licence preferred
