Alpha Travel & Tours is looking for a dynamic, friendly, and professional *Tour Guide* to lead guests on exciting explorations of Halifax and the stunning coastline of Nova Scotia.
As a Tour Guide, you're not just a driver ? you're the *face of the experience, the storyteller, and an important part of creating memorable experiences that bring guests back.*
Responsibilities
* Lead engaging tours for individuals, small groups, and larger parties * Provide entertaining and informative commentary on local history, culture, and attractions * Safely operate passenger vehicles while complying with all traffic and transportation regulations * Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of guests throughout the tour * Answer guest questions confidently and professionally * Manage tour logistics, including timing, routes, schedules, and guest headcounts * Adapt the tour experience to different audiences, group sizes, and situations * Create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests from around the world * Work closely with the Alpha Travel & Tours team to deliver seamless, top-rated experiences
Qualifications
* *Valid Nova Scotia Class 4 driver's licence is required* * *Clean driver?s abstract is required* * *Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, guiding, or customer service is preferred* * *Excellent verbal communication and public-speaking skills* * Strong knowledge of Halifax and Nova Scotia history, attractions, and culture * Friendly, confident, outgoing, and professional personality * Comfortable speaking to and interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to work independently while being a reliable team member * *Bilingual or multilingual candidates are an asset* * Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and seasonal periods

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
