*Position Summary *
The *Maintenance Coordinator* supports the day-to-day coordination and administration of the Company's maintenance activities while providing hands-on support with equipment and facility maintenance as required. The role will help establish and maintain a structured maintenance program, ensuring maintenance activities, records, schedules, repairs, and follow-up are properly organized and documented. The successful candidate will be versatile, organized, hands-on, and comfortable working both on the shop floor and with computer-based systems and documentation.
*Key Responsibilities *
* Coordinate and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and facilities. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, repair logs, and documentation. * Track repairs, parts, outstanding work, and follow-up requirements. * Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, checklists, and schedules. * Coordinate equipment and facility inspections and track identified maintenance requirements. * Coordinate and support contractors and outside service providers, including scheduling and follow-up. * Provide hands-on support with general machinery, equipment, and facility maintenance and troubleshooting as required. * Assist with equipment moves, installations, modifications, and other maintenance projects. * Help organize and maintain maintenance parts, tools, supplies, and inventory. * Support the development and continuous improvement of the Company's maintenance program and processes. * Provide general support for facilities, projects, and departmental activities as required.
*Qualifications*
* 3?5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, facilities, or a related environment is preferred. * Experience with *Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)* procedures and the safe isolation of machinery and equipment. * Lockout/Tagout training or certification is considered an asset. * Additional industrial safety, electrical, mechanical, or maintenance-related certifications are considered an asset. * Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with machinery and equipment. * Hands-on maintenance or troubleshooting experience is an asset. * Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills. * Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and maintenance/work-order systems. * Strong communication and follow-up skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees, supervisors, contractors, and service providers. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
