*Callahan Automotive Inc.* is looking for an experienced, motivated *Automotive Technician / Mechanic* to join our team. We are a busy, growing automotive repair shop offering a positive work environment, competitive wages, and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with weekends off.
What You'll Do
* Perform automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of makes and models * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues * Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine repairs * Complete vehicle inspections and identify required repairs * Perform routine maintenance and preventative services * Use diagnostic scan tools and other automotive equipment * Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area * Communicate professionally with the service team regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations
What We're Looking For
* Red Seal Automotive Technician certification preferred, but experienced technicians are considered * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Experience working independently and as part of a team * Reliable, punctual, and dependable * Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship * Valid driver's licence * Own tools * Positive attitude and willingness to learn
