About this role
*OCT Teacher - English Teacher (*if you are holding or processing to get your Ontario Certificate of Teaching, you will be first to consider, if not still welcome for all teachers who have Ontario secondary teaching experience.)
Proficiency: Moodle teaching system and Google class system.
develop and implement lesson plans according to the Ontario curriculum
Is a responsive, articulate, and adept communicator, while also being an effective listener;
Enjoys being a member of a school community who connects with students, parents, and faculty have knowledge of differentiated learning approaches to teaching with an emphasis on critical thinking skills
have knowledge in inquiry-based learning and a strong understanding of assessment
have the ability to work well in a team - sharing resources and ideas
have excellent behavior management skills
previous teaching experience (minimum 1 year) required
TIPS: If you don't have the OCT License but you have plenty of experience, you may also qualify to apply.
