About the Role
KC Seals is looking for a motivated, customer-focused *Inside Sales Representative* to join our Calgary team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, solving problems, and identifying opportunities to grow business. The successful candidate will work closely with existing customers while also following up on leads and developing new accounts.
As a small company, we value employees who are flexible, team-oriented, and willing to help where needed. While inside sales will be the primary responsibility, the successful candidate may occasionally assist with other areas of the business when their sales responsibilities are up to date.
Experience in industrial, technical, or B2B sales is an asset, but we are also open to candidates with strong customer service or sales experience who are eager to learn our products and industry.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person * Prepare accurate and timely quotations * Follow up on open quotes, leads, and sales opportunities * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers * Identify opportunities to grow sales within current accounts * Prospect for new customers and develop new business opportunities * Recommend products and solutions based on customer requirements * Process customer orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment * Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and sales information * Proactively follow up with customers regarding upcoming requirements and opportunities * Work toward individual and company sales targets * Collaborate with operations and management to provide a high level of customer service * Develop a strong understanding of KC Seals' products, applications, and customer industries
*Team Support & Flexibility*
As part of a small and collaborative team, the Inside Sales Representative may occasionally assist with other areas of the business when primary sales responsibilities are up to date.
This may include:
* Assisting with order processing and documentation * Helping with inventory-related tasks * Assisting with shipping and receiving coordination * Helping with general administrative tasks * Supporting other operational needs during busy periods * Assisting coworkers and departments where additional help is required
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a small-company environment where employees work together and are willing to pitch in when needed.
*What We're Looking For*
* Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or a related role * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Comfortable speaking with customers and developing new business * Organized and able to manage multiple quotes, orders, and follow-ups * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Comfortable working with computers, CRM/ERP systems, and Microsoft Office * Ability and willingness to learn technical products and applications * Willingness to assist in other areas of the business as needed * Comfortable working in a hands-on, team-oriented small-company environment * Industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or technical sales experience is considered an asset
