We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health. * Educate patient about their pending treatment. * Take dental X-rays as needed. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols. * Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient records efficiently. * Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. * Manage dental records and documentation review with precision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate dental coding.
*Experience*
* A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required. * At least *2 year experience *working as a full time Hygienist is required. * Knowledge of dental terminology is essential for effective communication with the dental team and patients. * Familiarity with Cleardent or similar dental software is a plus. * Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a positive patient experience.
