Job Description Job DescriptionHi all, Scheerhoorn electric is hiring a Journeyman / Woman Electrician, or qualified 4th year apprentice. We are a small family based company that is need of your help. Based out of Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, we are looking for local trades people to preform electrical work. Applicant must be familiar with residential, commercial, and service electrical work. A company vehicle and larger tools are provided upon presentation of positive drivers abstract. Service area includes but is not limited to Calgary, Okotoks, High River, Diamond valley, Foothills County and Rockyveiw county. Typically, work hours are Monday to Friday 7-5 (Varies everyday slightly) With Occasional Saturday and / or Night shift work. (Overtime and Night shift differential Included when required). Applicants must be able to safely read blueprints, run small crews, create plans and make positive on site decisions while being able to work with minimal supervision. Experience with Lumex cable, teck cable, emt, PVC conduit, finishing materials, and equipment, a must. Safety requirements include, First Aid, Fall arrest, Lifting equipment safety certification. We can help the right applicant achieve these certifications if required.
Rate of pay for new journeyman starts at $42.00 Per hour, Higher wages can be achieved based on experience and skill level. Benefit's include Vehicle paid commute for local employees, access to health spending account after 3 months.
