*The Opportunity*
We are seeking a *Registered Dental Hygienist* to join our established team beginning *January 2027*.
*Schedule:*
* Mondays * Wednesdays * One Saturday per month
This is a great opportunity for an experienced hygienist looking for a welcoming practice or a new graduate looking to start their career in a supportive environment.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, and committed to providing excellent patient care. You should enjoy educating patients, building relationships, and working as part of a collaborative dental team.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, and polishing. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and process digital X-rays as required. * Accurately chart and maintain patient records using *Tracker* dental software. * Collaborate with dentists and the clinical team to provide coordinated, patient-centred care. * Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients through excellent communication and service. * Maintain current knowledge of dental hygiene practices and continuing education. * Contribute to a positive and professional office environment.
*Qualifications*
* Current registration with the *College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)* and in good standing. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A genuine commitment to patient care and education. * Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member. * Strong attention to detail and organization. * Experience with *Tracker* is an asset, but not required. * A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
