*Job Overview* A well reputable Endoscopy Clinic in Kingston is seeking an enthusiastic part time Registered Nurse (RN) in a challenging and fast paced environment at our Kingston locations. You will provide nursing care to patients and their families in the operating room and GI Recovery area.
*Responsibilities: *
- Responsible for assisting the physician in the operating room
- Managing patient care during pre-procedure and post-procedure phases for the patients undergoing diagnostic or screening endoscopies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records of the patient.
- Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients? condition.
- Starting IV
*Qualifications:*
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- ACLS Required
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Committed to professional development and strong knowledge of policy and practice
Standards.
*Experience:*
A minimum of one year of recent acute care / post operative care experience is required
Experience in caring for patients receiving procedural sedation
Excellent IV skills.
Experience in endoscopic clinic will be an asset.
