*Position Summary* We are currently hiring a skilled Painter to join our growing team in the Victoria area. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our work meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The successful candidate will handle surface preparation, paint application, and finishing for both residential and commercial interiors and exteriors.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Prepare surfaces through washing, scraping, filling, caulking, sanding, and priming. * Apply paint, varnish, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Work on a variety of surfaces including drywall, wood, metal, and concrete. * Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths and masking techniques. * Repair minor surface imperfections such as cracks and holes. * Maintain quality while managing time efficiently to meet deadlines. * Adhere to safety protocols on all job sites. * Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces. * Communicate clearly with team members and clients regarding project updates.
*Qualifications*
* Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience. * Strong knowledge of residential painting methods and materials. * Excellent attention to detail and an eye for color and design. * Physical ability to work at heights and in confined or awkward spaces. * Effective time management and organizational skills. * Familiarity with safety and environmental standards.
*Preferred Assets*
* Experience with specialty finishes, faux techniques, or wallpaper installation. * Additional certifications or formal training in painting.
