Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace electrical system parts. Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts. Diagnose and isolate faults on engines. Discuss work with supervisor. Document your inspection and tests made on engines. Estimate repair costs. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Review work orders . Perform scheduled maintenance and service. Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment. Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance. Repair recreation vehicles. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Area of specialization: Motorcycle. Snowmobile. Watercraft. All terrain vehicles (ATV). Recreation vehicle repairer. Troubleshooting/diagnostic. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
