Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team. Coordinate patient care. Evaluate patient care and progress. Implement an interdisciplinary plan of care. Interpret medical test results . Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests. Plan patient care. Advise patients on drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. Ensure infection control. Advise patients on health care. Examine patients and take their medical histories and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories. Provide health maintenance education. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial authority for midwives.
