Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation . Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Operate computer controlled equipment. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Fast-paced environment. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
