We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. We are seeking a polished, personable, and highly service-oriented individual who is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences for members and guests.

The Pool Concierge serves as a primary hospitality presence within the pool area and is responsible for welcoming members and guests, supporting access and check-in procedures, communicating club amenities and activities, anticipating member needs, and coordinating with the broader club team to deliver a seamless and personalized experience.

This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in recognizing members and their preferences, and understands the level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail expected within a premium private-club environment.

As part of Troon / Cliff Drysdale Management, you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports, golf, hospitality, and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome members and guests arriving at the pool and create a professional and inviting first impression

• Manage member and guest check-in and pool access in accordance with established club policies and procedures

• Recognize members and address them by name whenever possible

• Assist members and guests with seating, towels, umbrellas, amenities, and other reasonable pool-related requests

• Maintain knowledge of club amenities, hours of operation, events, programs, activities, and member services

• Provide accurate information and proactively communicate relevant club offerings to members and guests

• Anticipate member needs and provide attentive, personalized service whenever possible

• Develop professional relationships with members and become familiar with preferences that help enhance their club experience

• Maintain awareness of pool occupancy, member activity, and overall conditions throughout the day

• Professionally communicate applicable club policies and pool guidelines to members and guests

• Handle routine member questions and concerns professionally, discreetly, and courteously

• Escalate significant member concerns, complaints, safety matters, or operational issues to management when appropriate

• Coordinate closely with the Pool Attendant to ensure pool-deck presentation, cleanliness, amenities, and member needs are consistently addressed

• Communicate and coordinate with the Pro Shop, management, and other club departments to support seamless member service

• Assist in communicating upcoming club programming, events, racquet activities, and other member opportunities when appropriate

• Maintain accurate knowledge of daily club activities that may affect the member experience

• Identify and report facility, maintenance, operational, and potential safety concerns to management

• Support club events and special programming in and around the pool area when required

• Protect the confidentiality, privacy, and personal information of members and guests

• Maintain a polished professional appearance and consistently demonstrate high standards of hospitality

• Follow applicable club procedures and company policies

• Perform other duties as required

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Previous experience in hospitality, private clubs, luxury hotels, resorts, concierge services, front desk operations, guest relations, or customer service is preferred

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer-service skills

• Warm, polished, professional, and approachable demeanor

• Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills

• Ability to build professional relationships with members and guests

• Ability to recognize member preferences and anticipate service needs

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to exercise discretion when handling member information and interactions

• Ability to resolve routine concerns calmly and professionally

• Ability to remain composed and service-focused during periods of high member activity

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members

• Ability to communicate effectively in English as necessary to perform the essential functions of the position and interact with members, guests, and team members

• Availability to work flexible schedules based on club operations, which may include weekends and holidays

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The position regularly requires:

• Working in both outdoor and indoor club environments

• Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and direct sunlight

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Moving throughout the pool deck and adjacent club areas to assist members and monitor operations

• Occasional reaching, bending, carrying, or assisting with lightweight pool amenities and supplies as necessary
