Summary:
The Banquet Houseman Set Up and Breakdown is responsible for the professional set-up, maintenance, service support, and breakdown of banquet rooms and event spaces at Harrison Meadows Country Club. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all events are properly prepared, maintained, and returned to their original condition while meeting the high service and presentation standards expected of a private country club.
The Banquet Houseman works closely with the Banquet Captain, Banquet Servers, Operations Supervisor, and other Food & Beverage team members to ensure events run efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reviews all Banquet Event Orders on a daily basis to determine staffing levels, location setup, related supplies, and curating materials.
• Ensures events are set up on time and that the quality of the product and level of service are delivered.
• Ensures that proper audiovisual equipment is available, delivered, and set up as needed for use by facility departments and guests.
• Maintains and continuously improves the presentation of all events at the facility.
• Performs setup and teardown activities for all meetings.
• Monitors overall convention and banquet areas for cleanliness and any maintenance issues. Works with housekeeping and engineering on any areas in need of attention.
• Implements and maintains excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
