Business Development & Marketing Assistant Job Details:
Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest law firms in the Western United States, is seeking a full-time Business Development and Marketing Assistant to work from the firm's Denver office.
This individual, reporting to the firm's Senor Marketing Technology Manager, who is located in Denver, will support the firm's business development and marketing efforts in Denver, Dallas, and Washington, DC as well as the IP Practice Group, and may also aid, as needed, for firmwide projects and initiatives.
The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Business Development and Client Support: Help execute business development initiatives by assisting attorneys and practice groups with opportunity tracking and pursuit activities. Assist in responses to RFPs and proposals, including drafting and assembling materials, conducting research, and ensuring timely submissions. Maintain and update marketing collateral, pitch materials, and client-facing content.
• Marketing, Communications, and Brand: Aid in the development and maintenance of marketing materials, including attorney biographies, practice descriptions, and client communications. Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives that promote the firm's services and thought leadership. Strengthening digital content, including website updates and social media posts, ensuring alignment with firm brand standards.
• Public Relations and Visibility: Bolster public relations efforts by drafting and coordinating announcements, legal updates, and client communications. Help with submissions for legal directories and rankings, including gathering information and coordinating materials. Track media coverage and maintain relevant records.
• Events and Market Presence: Assist in planning and executing client events, sponsorships, and webinars. Support logistics such as invitations, attendee tracking, materials preparation, and onsite coordination. Help manage post-event follow-up activities and maintain event records.
• Operations and Reporting: Maintain data within CRM and related systems, ensuring accuracy of contacts, activities, and experience information. Assist with tracking marketing and business development activities and preparing basic reports. Support administrative aspects of budgeting and vendor coordination as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or a related field, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships internally and externally
• Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills within a variety of settings
• Ability to work well under pressure within a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to present a professional and polished image and demeanor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media platforms, and CRM management is needed
• Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
• Ability to travel, as required

The pay range for this position is $26.50 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
