Medical Assistant (Certified) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Louisa Immediate Care Clinic
Position Details:
• Full-Time Position
• 5 x 8 hours shifts per week and shifts may vary
• Clinic Hours
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Saturday, 9:00am to 4:30pm
Job Summary:
• Administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care
• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum One (1) year experience in direct patient care
• Medical Assistant - Currently be registered as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body
• License Practical Nurse - Certification as a licensed practical nurse and Kentucky LPN license is required
• BLS / CPR certification
• Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision-making skills
