About this role
Duties & Functions:
• Assist Environmental leadership with day-to-day coaching and training of Environmental Operations Technicians. • Operate and maintain equipment related to manure application across the operating geography including responsibility for manure application, maintaining records and ensuring proper calibration of application equipment. • Abide by and ensure all technicians adhere to policies governing safety and environment. • Ensure all management practices are consistent with commonly accepted standards for state and local agencies. • Performs work in a manner compliant with local, state, and Federal standards and regulations and in adherence to Company standards and safety Non-Negotiables. • Provide irrigation help, operation and maintenance and evaluate future pumping equipment requirements, upgrades or replacements • Collaborate and closely align with farm managers and staff to ensure a seamless working relationship. • Assist with farm and application equipment maintenance program and participate in Emergency Response and Environmental Safety programs. • Diagnose and provide plausible solutions for electrical, equipment, pivot operations, and other facility challenges that arise throughout the company owned/leased facilities. • Mowing, weed eating and spraying as well as equipment operator for row crop operations
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
Major(s): Agriculture, Environmental or related field
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience in agriculture or related field; 1 year operating and maintaining environmental equipment including dragline and pivot irrigation systems;
License or Certification: Preferred CDL and welding certification or ability to obtain
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
• Manure application and transfer systems • Computer systems, agricultural software and GPS • Working knowledge of application equipment including pivot systems • Environmental and safety policies
Skill in:
• Verbal and written communication • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records • Work independently while functioning in a team-oriented environment
Ability to: • Operate heavy equipment for extended periods • Welding for Steel and HDP preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
Targeted pay range of $24-$28 USD hourly depending on experience and qualifications.
