About this role
H Mart is seeking a strategic and hands-on Logistics Transportation Specialist to lead our multi-region logistics operations, regulatory compliance, and carrier strategy. In this role, you will oversee fleet maintenance and DOT adherence, optimize regional delivery networks, and drive cost-efficiency through strategic carrier management and financial oversight. You will also lead continuous process improvements, manage transportation P&L, and mentor operational staff to ensure seamless execution across all logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Compliance Leadership
• Lead all DOT compliance programs and ensure fleet-wide regulatory adherence.
• Oversee multi-region fleet management including inspections, registrations, and maintenance schedules.
• Develop and enforce driver safety training programs and compliance protocols.
• Manage ELD systems, pallet jacks, and all fleet-related equipment procurement.
Multi-Region Delivery Strategy
• Lead and optimize delivery operations across all regional and local service areas.
• Define standards and KPIs for regional delivery performance; drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with regional teams and third-party carriers to resolve complex delivery challenges.
Carrier Strategy & Brokerage Management
• Lead carrier network strategy including RFP development, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
• Identify and onboard new carriers to improve cost efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor and analyze market trends; provide strategic carrier recommendations to leadership.
Financial Oversight & Reporting
• Oversee billing operations for dedicated services and OTR freight AP/AR.
• Lead P&L analysis; present financial performance insights to leadership.
• Manage transportation tax compliance including IFTA and state-specific filings.
Process Improvement & Team Guidance
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and cost control.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Specialist I and II staff.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for transportation operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred

Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday ~ Friday
Salary Range: 65,000 ~ 90,000 based on experience
