About this role
Job Duties
• Specialize in the administration of medications, fluids, and blood through injections into patients' veins using multiple access methods.
• Conduct direct and indirect age-appropriate patient assessments.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients/families in care planning.
• Report patient status to physicians and obtain necessary care orders.
• Provide age-appropriate patient and family education.
• Accommodate individual learning needs of patients.
• Educate and mentor students, novice nurses, and peers.
• Promote educational opportunities for self and others.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from Idaho or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
