In this role, you will be an essential part of the guest experience at AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club, helping ensure our spa, fitness, and locker room areas reflect the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and care.
What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:
Every day brings the opportunity to support a luxury wellness environment and make a direct impact on the guest experience. Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of spa, fitness, and locker room facilities to luxury hospitality standards
• Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for members and guests through consistent attention to detail
• Cleaning and sanitizing men's locker rooms, restrooms, showers, sauna, steam room, and spa treatment support areas
• Restocking towels, amenities, and supplies to ensure seamless guest readiness throughout the day
• Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of public spaces, including floors, surfaces, windows, and high-touch areas
• Ensuring all fitness equipment is properly sanitized according to established wellness and safety protocols
• Resetting and organizing fitness areas to always maintain an elevated and guest-ready appearance
• Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns to ensure safety, comfort, and operational excellence
• Supporting chemical safety and sanitation procedures in alignment with health standards and guidelines
• Partnering with team members to maintain a smooth, efficient, and service-focused operation
• Responding to guest needs with professionalism, urgency, and care
• Assisting with additional duties as needed to support overall spa and fitness operations
What We're Looking For:
• Previous housekeeping, spa, fitness center, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and elevated environment
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
• Understanding of sanitation standards and commitment to safety protocols
• Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset
• Ability to remain active and mobile throughout the duration of the shift
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as business needs require
What You Bring to the Team:
• Restock inventory in AquaVie areas as needed.
• Maintains and cleans AquaVie Fitness & Spa public areas complying with Health & Sanitation Guidelines.
• Maintains and cleans AquaVie Fitness & Spa restrooms & locker rooms complying with Health & Sanitation Guidelines.
• Maintains and cleans AquaVie Fitness & Spa showers, sauna, steam room, spa treatment rooms.
• Ensures internal windows and doorways are free of fingerprints and smudges.
• Ensures that furniture, staircases and hard surfaces in AquaVie Fitness & Spa public spaces are clean and organized.
• Requires AquaVie Fitness & Club public space floors are free of debris.
• Sanitizes all workout equipment according to AquaVie Fitness & Club protocols.
• Reports any maintenance issue to supervisors.
• Empties all waste receptacles in AquaVie Fitness & Spa public spaces.
• Follows procedures concerning protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all MSDS.
• Immediately report any areas of concerns to management (such as leaks, malfunctioning fixtures and equipment, slow drainage, any mold or infestations).
• Aid in resetting the gym at the end of every shift (all weight plates picked up and organized, equipment wiped down, floors mopped, cardio machines reset, towels restocked, wet wipes restocked)
• Assist in other duties as requested by supervisor.

Physical Requirements
• Lift up to thirty (30) pounds, unassisted.
• Bending, stretching, standing, walking and use of stairs for duration of shift.
Additional Information:
This is a non-exempt hourly position. A flexible schedule is required based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
