A day in the life, what you'll be doing:
• Own Pacsun's AI analytics and business reporting roadmap, prioritizing use cases by business value, feasibility, and ROI in partnership with executive stakeholders.
• Prepare and govern the enterprise data landscape for AI use cases, including data readiness for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), feature engineering, model training pipelines, and vector data stores.
• Establish and enforce responsible AI practices, including model risk review, bias and accuracy monitoring, data privacy, and compliance with emerging AI regulations and internal governance standards.
• Direct the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise Business Intelligence and system integration solutions that support AI-driven decision-making.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align AI, data, and integration strategy with Pacsun's next ERP and Financial System transformation.
• Evaluate and manage third-party AI tools and vendor partnerships, ensuring solutions meet security, data governance, and integration standards.
• Create and maintain data and AI architecture documentation, including model inventories, data flow diagrams, and governance frameworks.
• Lead ETL/ELT and OLAP development to ensure efficient, trustworthy data pipelines feeding both traditional BI and AI/ML systems.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT, data science, and business stakeholders to prioritize AI and data-related initiatives.
• Track emerging AI technologies and retail industry trends, recommending where new capabilities can create competitive advantage.
• Mentor and manage a team of BI developers, analysts, and integration engineers, building AI and data fluency across the team.

• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide data and AI architecture solutions focused on retail analytics and innovation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and transformations, including ERP and financial systems.
Developing the Community/ Leadership Qualities:
