About this role
This position is at our Prairie Plant in Wilmington. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 6am to 2pm
Pay Range: $21.50 per hour!
🎉 This position is eligible for a $3,000 Bonus!
$1,500 at 3 Months!
$1,500 at 6 Months!
Core Responsibilities:
• Operates forklift to safely unload inbound shipments of finished goods
• Maintains paperwork for all loads
• Verifies that inbound shipments are damage-free and match packing list exactly
• Maintains clean and orderly conditions in warehouse and loading areas using workplace organization methods (i.e. 6S)
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety and equipment handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Pull all rail kitting components to be shipped to offsite supplier
• Load trucks for outbound shipments of components
• Receive and unload the trucks of incoming rail kits from supplier
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of incoming rail kits
• Performs additional duties/tasks as assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience operating material handling equipment
• Forklift Certification – either current or in prior work experience
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong attention to detail, reading, comprehension and good communication skills
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Computer skills preferred, to include; basic input of information into ERP system on receiving and shipping process
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business
Education Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required.
