About this role
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner; work as a part of a team as well as complete assignments independently; exercise problem solving skills and interact with co‐workers, guests and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
• Be knowledgeable of all bar selections.
• Insure proper execution of service between team members.
• Complete opening/closing duties.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others.
• Know hotel functions and special events.
• Knowledgeable on computer terminal, POS System.
• Help bartenders when help is needed, by serving food, opening wine, etc.
Experience/Education
High school diploma or general education degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Management/supervisory experience in a bar of similar size and volume; hotel experience a plus.
