We are looking for you, Intelligent Automation Developer to our Intelligent Automation & Key Expert Network team in the Marketing & Services business unit. This position is based at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland. You will focus on implementing Marketing & Services’ Strategy Passion for Excellence and Best Customer Experience by automating processes with RPA (robotic process automation) and other Intelligent Automation solutions. We build our solutions on our Intelligent Automation platform, utilizing UiPath as our main tool. We currently have over 100 automations in production handling over 20,000 transactions per month. As an Intelligent Automation Developer, you will combine hands-on development work with active business engagement. In this role, building new automations requires a strongly solution-oriented mindset, an outgoing personality, and a proactive approach to working closely with various business units. By actively listening to business needs and connecting with stakeholders, you ensure we build the best possible solutions to drive and support the business. You will also get involved in our transformation journey as we design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 to replace the current fragmented system landscape. You will become part of our growing intelligent automation team, currently consisting of 3 experts, working closely with Marketing & Services teams in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as other Intelligent Automation developers across Neste. More about the job Your role in our team Active Business Collaboration: Actively engage and communicate with business units to discover automation opportunities, understand business needs, and build optimal solutions that maximize operational value. Hands-on Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Intelligent Automation solutions in cooperation with key stakeholders to improve processes and increase efficiency with measurable results. Solution-Oriented Problem Solving: Take a proactive, outgoing approach to designing innovative and practical automation solutions. Standardization & Best Practices: Work with other Neste Intelligent Automation teams, Business Analysts, and developers to define and continuously improve automation standards and ways of working. Documentation & Quality: Create and maintain process documentations, Solution Design Documents (SDD), and technical documentations according to defined Neste standards. Testing & Monitoring: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal customers and monitor automations after deployment. Continuous Learning: Follow up on developments in automation technologies and share knowledge with the team. Agile Ways of Working: Attend relevant Scrum meetings and commit to Sprint deliverables. The best combination to succeed in this role Solution-Oriented & Outgoing Personality: Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric and proactive approach to building relationships with business partners. Hands-on Automation Experience: Solid RPA development experience with UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar platforms. Programming Skills: Experience coding in Python, VB.NET, C#, Java, or SQL in a professional environment. AI & Machine Learning: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Machine Learning development and/or Artificial Intelligence solutions. Process & Tech Mindset: Process-oriented mindset with an interest in intelligent process automation, databases, and software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, DevOps, DevSecOps). Proactivity: Independent drive to solve complex problems, embrace change, and achieve tangible results. Intercultural Collaboration: Ability to collaborate seamlessly in a cross-functional and multicultural environment with both internal and external parties. Education & Languages: B.Sc. level degree (including studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Process Development) and fluency in English (written and spoken). Compliance Awareness: Basic knowledge of GDPR and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines. Other strengths we value are experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate.
