Role Details Location: Snowy River Gold Mine Project – Reefton, New Zealand’s South Island Roster: 7:7 (Local) or 14:14 (FIFO) Accommodation allowance provided for local personnel Flights, transport and accommodation provided for FIFO personnel Competitive remuneration package About the Role Macmahon Underground is returning to New Zealand and seeking experienced Service Crew to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand’s South Island. As part of this exciting opportunity, Macmahon will deliver underground development, production and backfill services from October 2026. Service Crew are integral to our underground mining operations and is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services. We are seeking safety-focused individuals who are committed to maintaining high operational standards, supporting production activities, and contributing to a strong team culture. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot underground infrastructure, including ventilation, water and air services. Complete pre-start inspections, report hazards or defects, and follow site plans, instructions and traffic management procedures. Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values. Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture. What You’ll Bring Minimum 12 months’ underground mining experience in a Service Crew role. Ability to work independently and within a team. Valid Class 1 (unrestricted manual) New Zealand drivers licence (essential) with a Dangerous Goods (D) endorsement (desirable).
